Jesus death in the cross

Ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, divided the spoils of Hunain at the place of Al-Ji’ranna and the people crowded around him. The Prophet said, “Verily, a servant among the servants of God was sent to his people and they denied him, rejected him and made blood spill from his forehead and he said: O my Lord, forgive my people because indeed they do not know.” Abdullah said, “It is as if I am looking now at the Messenger of God  tell the story of the man who wiped his forehead.”

As if I saw the Prophet talking about one of the prophets whose nation had beaten him and caused him to bleed, while he was cleaning the blood off his face and saying, "O Allah! Forgive my nation, for they have no knowledge.".....

 Who his own self bore our sins in his body upon the tree: that we, being dead to sins, should live to justice: by whose stripes you were healed.(1Pet.2:24)
