Sahih Imam Bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 186 …Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: To run along the valley between two green pillars (idols) of Safa (Isaf) and Marwa (Naila) was not sunna (tradition), but the people in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance used to run along it, and used to say: “We do not cross this rain stream except running strongly. ”

Sunan Ibn Majah 520--It was narrated that Jabir bin Abdullah said: "We came to a pond in which there was the carcass of a donkey, so we refrained from using the water until the Messenger of Allah came to us and said: 'Water is not made impure by anything.' Then we DRANK from it and gave it to our animals to drink, and we carried some with us."

Sahih BukhariVolume 1, Book 2, Number 24:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said: "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform a that, then they save their lives an property from me except for Islamic laws and then their reckoning (accounts) will be done by Allah."

Sahih BukhariVolume 1, Book 1, Number 3:
Narrated 'Aisha:
(the mother of the faithful believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright day light, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food like-wise again till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to read.
The Prophet added, "The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, 'Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists) has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous." (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that had happened and said, "I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija replied, "Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your Kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones."
Khadija then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the PreIslamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari while talking about the period of pause in revelation reporting the speech of the Prophet "While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel who had visited me at the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah revealed the following Holy Verses (of Quran):
'O you (i.e. Muhammad)! wrapped up in garments!' Arise and warn (the people against Allah's Punishment),... up to 'and desert the idols.' (74.1-5) After this the revelation started coming strongly, frequently and regularly."

"When the Prophet went to her he found her to be an old woman, so he divorced her."
al-Tabari vol.9 p.139
sahih bukhari Volume 7, Book 65, Number 366:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

The Prophet said, 'When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else."
Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 1118
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) saw sputum sticking to the Qibla of the mosque. He scratched it offwith a pebble and then forbade spitting on the right side or in front, but (it is permissible) to spit on the left side or under the left foot.

Bukhari IVolume 1, Book 6, Number 298:

Narrated ‘Aisha:
The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me.

Waqidi said: “The prophet of Allah used to say that I was among those who have little strength for intercourse. Then Allah sent me a pot with cooked meat. After I ate from it, I found strength any time I wanted to do the work.”

Narrated Aisha:

When there was ((( SAID ABOUT ME ))) what was said which

, Allah's Apostle got up and addressed the people. He recited Tashah-hud, and after glorifying and praising Allah as He deserved, he said, "To proceed: O people Give me your opinion regarding those people who made a

((( FORGED story against my wife))).

By Allah, I do not know anything bad about her. By Allah, they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad, and he never entered my house unless I was present there, and whenever I went on a journey, he went with me." Sad bin Mu'adh got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle Allow me to chop their heads off" Then a man from the Al-Khazraj (Sa'd bin 'Ubada) to whom the mother of (the poet) Hassan bin Thabit was a relative, got up and said (to Sad bin Mu'adh), "You have told a lie! By Allah, if those persons were from the Aus Tribe, you would not like to chop their heads off." It was probable that some evil would take place between the Aus and the Khazraj in the mosque, and I was unaware of all that. In the evening of that day, I went out for some of my needs (i.e. to relieve myself), and Um Mistah was accompanying me. On our return, Um Mistah stumbled and said, "Let Mistah. be ruined" I said to her, "O mother Why do you abuse your Son" On that Um Mistah became silent for a while, and stumbling again, she said, "Let Mistah be ruined" I said to her, "Why do you abuse your son?" She stumbled for the third time and said, "Let Mistah be ruined" whereupon I rebuked her for that. She said, "By Allah, I do not abuse him except because of you." I asked her, "Concerning what of my affairs?" So she disclosed the whole story to me. I said, "Has this really happened?" She replied, "Yes, by Allah." I returned to my house, astonished (and distressed) that I did not know for what purpose I had gone out. Then I became sick (fever) and said to Allah's Apostle "Send me to my father's house." So he sent a slave with me, and when I entered the house, I found Um Rum-an (my mother) downstairs while (my father) Abu Bakr was reciting something upstairs. My mother asked, "What has brought you, O (my) daughter?" I informed her and mentioned to her the whole story, but she did not feel it as I did. She said, "O my daughter! Take it easy, for there is never a charming lady loved by her husband who has other wives but that they feel jealous of her and speak badly of her." But she did not feel the news as I did. I asked (her), "Does my father know about it?" She said, "yes" I asked, Does Allah's Apostle know about it too?" She said, "Yes, Allah's Apostle does too." So the tears filled my eyes and I wept. Abu Bakr, who was reading upstairs heard my voice and came down and asked my mother, "What is the matter with her? " She said, "She has heard what has been said about her (as regards the story of Al-lfk)." On that Abu- Bakr wept and said, "I beseech you by Allah, O my daughter, to go back to your home" I went back to my home and Allah's Apostle had come to my house and asked my maid-servant about me (my character). The maid-servant said, "By Allah, I do not know of any defect in her character except that she sleeps and let the sheep enter (her house) and eat her dough." On that, some of the Prophet's companions spoke harshly to her and said, "Tell the truth to Allah's Apostle." Finally they told her of the affair (of the slander). She said, "Subhan Allah! By Allah, I know nothing against her except what goldsmith knows about a piece of pure gold." Then this news reached the man who was accused, and he said, "Subhan Allah! By Allah, I have never uncovered the private parts of any woman." Later that man was martyred in Allah's Cause. Next morning my parents came to pay me a visit and they stayed with me till Allah's Apostle came to me after he had offered the Asr prayer. He came to me while my parents were sitting around me on my right and my left. He praised and glorified Allah and said, "Now then O 'Aisha! If you have committed a bad deed or you have wronged (yourself), then repent to Allah as Allah accepts the repentance from his slaves." An Al-Ansari woman had come and was sitting near the gate. I said (to the Prophet). "Isn't it improper that you speak in such a way in the presence of this lady? Allah's Apostle then gave a piece of advice and I turned to my father and requested him to answer him (on my behalf). My father said, "What should I say?" Then I turned to my mother and asked her to answer him. She said, "What should I say?" When my parents did not give a reply to the Prophet, I said, "I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that Muhammad is His Apostle!" And after praising and glorifying Allah as He deserves, I said, "Now then, by Allah, if I were to tell you that I have not done (this evil action) and Allah is a witness that I am telling the truth, that would not be of any use to me on your part because you (people) have spoken about it and your hearts have absorbed it; and if I were to tell you that I have done this sin and Allah knows that I have not done it, then you will say, 'She has confessed herself guilty." By Allah, 'I do not see a suitable example for me and you but the example of (I tried to remember Jacob's name but couldn't) Joseph's father when he said; So (for me) "Patience is most fitting against that which you assert. It is Allah (alone) whose help can be sought.' At that very hour the Divine Inspiration came to Allah's Apostle and we remained silent. Then the Inspiration was over and I noticed the signs of happiness on his face while he was removing (the sweat) from his forehead and saying, "Have the good tidings O ' "Aisha! Allah has revealed your innocence." At that time I was extremely angry. My parents said to me. "Get up and go to him." I said, "By Allah, I will not do it and will not thank him nor thank either of you, but I will thank Allah Who has revealed my innocence. You have heard this story but neither did not deny it nor change it (to defend me)," (Aisha used to say:) "But as regards Zainab bint Jahsh, (the Prophet's wife), Allah protected her because of her piety, so she did not say anything except good (about me), but her sister, Hamna, was ruined among those who were ruined. Those who used to speak evil about me were Mistah, Hassan bin Thabit, and the hypocrite, Abdullah bin Ubai, who used to spread that news and tempt others to speak of it, and it was he and Hamna who had the greater share therein. Abu Bakr took an oath that he would never do any favor to Mistah at all. Then Allah revealed the Divine Verse:-- "Let not those among you who are good and wealthy (i.e. Abu Bakr) swear not to give (an
y sort of help) to their kinsmen, and those in need, (i.e. Mistah) ...Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah if Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (24.22) On that, Abu Bakr said, "Yes, by Allah, O our Lord! We wish that You should forgive us." So Abu Bakr again started giving to Mistah the expenditure which he used to give

175) Narrated zaid bin Thabit:

Abu Bakr As-Siddiq sent for me when the people! of Yamama had been killed (i.e., a number of the Prophet's Companions who fought against Musailama). (I went to him) and found 'Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said (to me), "Umar has come to me and said: "Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" 'Umar said, "By Allah, that is a good project. "Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest for it and I began to realize the good in the idea which 'Umar had realized." Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Apostle. So you should search for (the fragmentary scripts of) the Qur'an and collect it in one book)." By Allah If they had ordered me to shift one of the mountains, it would not have been heavier for me than this ordering me to collect the Qur'an. Then I said to Abu Bakr, "How will you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" Abu Bakr replied, "By Allah, it is a good project." Abu Bakr kept on urging me to accept his idea until Allah opened my chest for what He had opened the chests of Abu Bakr and 'Umar. So I started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from

(((( the men who knew it by heart,))))

till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with

((((Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari,))))

and I did not find it with anybody other than him. The Verse is: 'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty..(till the end of Surat-Baraa' (At-Tauba) (9.128-129) Then the complete manuscripts (copy) of the Qur'an remained with Abu Bakr till he died, then with 'Umar till the end of his life, and then with Hafsa, the daughter of 'Umar. Historic Miracle: Hijra

Hadrat Ibn 'Abbas (Rady Allahu 'Anh) said, "One night Quraish consulted together in Makka. Some said they should tie him up (i.e. the Prophet) in the morning; others said they should rather kill him; and others said they should rather expel him. Allah informed His prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) about that, so Sayyidina 'Ali (Rady Allahu 'Anh) spent that night on the Prophet's bed, and the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) went out till he came to the cave. The polytheists spent the night keeping guard on Sayyidina 'Ali (Rady Allahu 'Anh) thinking he was the Prophet, and in the morning they rushed on him, but when they saw Sayyidina 'Ali (Rady Allahu 'Anh), Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) had turned away their guile. They asked, "Where is this companion of yours?" and he replied. "I do not know." They tracked him, but when they reached the mountain his tracks became confused, so they went up the mountain and passed by the cave. They saw a spider's web at the entrance and said, "If he had entered here there would not have been a spider's web at the entrance." He stayed in it for three nights. (Ahmad)

Heavenly Miracle: Mi'raj

Narrated Hadrat Abu Dharr (Rady Allahu 'Anh): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, "While I was at Makka, the roof of my house was opened and Jibril descended, opened my chest, and washed it with Zam-Zam water. Then be brought a golden tray full of wisdom and faith and having poured its contents in my chest, he closed it. Then he took my hand and ascended with me to the nearest heaven; when I reached the nearest heaven, Jibril said to the gatekeeper of the heaven. 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper asked, 'Who is it?' Jibril answered: 'Jibril'. He asked 'is there anyone with you?' Jibril replied 'Yes, Muhammad (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) is with me.' He asked 'Has he been called?' Jibril said, 'Yes.' So the gate was opened and we went over the nearest heaven and there we saw a man sitting with some people on his right and some on his left. When he looked towards his right, he laughed and when he looked towards his left he wept. Then he said, 'Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious son.' I asked Jibril, 'Who is he?' He replied, "He is Adam ('Alayhissalaam) and the people on his right and left are the souls of his offspring. Those on his right are the people of Paradise and those on his left are people of Hell and when he looks towards his right he laughs and when he looks towards his left he weeps.'

Then he ascended with me till he reached the second heaven and he (Jibril) said to its gatekeeper, 'Open (the gate).' The gatekeeper said to him the same as the gatekeeper of the first heaven and he opened the gate.

Hadrat Anas (Rady Allahu 'Anh) said: "Abu Dharr added that the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) met Sayyidina Adam, Idris, Moses, Jesus and Abraham ('Alayhimussalaam), he (Abu Dharr) did not mention on which heaven they were but he mentioned that he (the Prophet) met Sayyidina Adam ('Alayhissalaam) on the nearest heaven and Sayyidina Abraham ('Alayhissalaam) on the sixth heaven. (Bukhari)

Narrated Hadrat Jabir bin 'Abdullah (Rady Allahu 'Anh): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, "When the Quraish disbelieved me (concerning my night journey), I stood up in Al-Hijr (the unroofed portion of the Ka'ba) and Allah displayed Bayt-ul Maqdis before me, and I started to inform them (Quraish) about its signs while looking at it. (Bukhari)

The splitting of the moon

Narrated Hadrat Anas (Rady Allahu 'Anh) that the people of Makkah requested Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) to show them a miracle and he showed them the splitting of the moon. (Bukhari)

The date palm cried for him

Narrated Hadrat Jabir bin 'Abdullah (Rady Allahu 'Anh): The Prophet used to stand by a tree or a date-palm on Friday. Then the Ansari woman or man said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we make a pulpit for you?" He replied, "If you wish." So they made a pulpit for him and when it was Friday, he proceeded towards the pulpit (for delivering the sermon). The date-palm cried like a child! The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) descended (the pulpit) and embraced it while it continued moaning like a child being quietened. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) said, "It was crying for (missing) what it used to hear of religious knowledge given near to it." (Bukhari)

Water flowed from his fingers

Narrated Hadrat Jabir bin 'Abdullah (Rady Allahu 'Anh): I was with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) and the time for Asr prayer became due. We had no water with us except a little which was put in a vessel and was brought to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam). He put his hand into it and spread out his fingers and then said, "Come along! Hurry up! All those who want to perform ablution. The Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water gushing out from his fingers. So the people performed the ablution and drank, and I tried to drink more of that water (beyond my thirst and capacity), for I knew that it was a blessing. The sub-narrator said: I asked Jabir (Rady Allahu 'Anh), "How many persons were you then?" He replied, "We were one thousand four hundred men." (Bukhari)

Note: Other hadiths of similar nature have been narrated by Hadrat Anas bin Malik (Rady Allahu 'Anh) and Hadrat 'Abdullah (Rady Allahu 'Anh) in Sahih Bukhari.

His Baraka (Blessing) in the dates

Narrated Hadrat Jabir (Rady Allahu 'Anh): My father died in debt. So I came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) and said, "My father died and left unpaid debts and I have nothing except the yield of date-palms; and their yield for many years will not cover his debts. So please come with me, so that the creditors may not misbehave with me." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) went around one of the heaps of dates and invoked Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and then did the same with another heap and sat on it and said, "Measure (for them)". He paid them their rights and what remained was as much as had been paid to them. (Bukhari)

His Baraka (Blessing) in the food

Hadrat Anas (Rady Allahu 'Anh) reports: "In a walima-feast given by the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) my mother prepared malidah (pounded bread mixed with ghee and sugar) and offered it in a bowl to him. He asked me to call such and such persons and anyone who might meet me on the way. I went out and whoever came across me I kept sending him to the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) until the whole house and the place where the Companions of the Suffa resided were crowded. Then the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) said: "Make batches of ten persons and go on eating." When all the guests had eaten heartily he ordered the bowl to be picked up." Hadrat Anas (Rady Allahu 'Anh) exclaims: "I cannot say whether the bowl was fuller before or after all the guests had partaken from it!" (Tirmidhi)

His Baraka (Blessing) in the milk

Hadrat Abu Huraira (Rady Allahu 'Anh) relates: "By Allah, except whom there is no God, during the days of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) I used to press my stomach against the ground due to extreme hunger, or I used to tie a stone over it. One day I was sitting by the side of a public thoroughfare when the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) passed by me. On seeing me he smiled and recognized from my face my condition (that I was hungry). He called "Abahir" (meaning Abu Huraira) and I responded: 'I am here, O Messenger of Allah'. He said: 'Come along with me' and he walked on; I followed him.

On reaching home he sought permission of the inmates, and entered, and also permitted me to enter in the house. He found a cup full of milk, and asked the inmates 'From where has this milk come? They said: 'It is a present for you from some gentleman or lady.' He called me 'Abahir' and I responded: 'I am here, O Messenger of Allah'. He said: Go and call my Suffa Companions.' These companions were the guests of the Muslims, who had no house, no property, no friends or relatives with whom they could live. As such they were guests of all Muslims. Whenever the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) received something as charity he used to send it to them and would not retain anything out if it for himself (as charity was forbidden for him and his family). However, whenever he received something as a gift he would send for them and shared it with them.

But on this occasion I did not like his invitation to them, and thought: 'How would this milk suffice so many? I deserve this more than others, as by drinking it I might gain some energy. When these companions of the Suffa would come, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) will ask me to serve the milk to them. When they start drinking I do not think that anything would be left for me out of this milk. But what could I have done, I could not dare avoid the orders of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and His Messenger (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam).

Accordingly I went out and called them; they came and solicited permission to come in, which was granted and they came in and took their seats. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) called me 'Abahir' and I replied: 'I am here, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Take hold of the cup of milk and give it to them.' I took the cup and passed it to one man who would drink and when he felt satisfied, he would return it to me, and I would give it to the next person who likewise drank the milk to his fill. I went on doing this till the cup reached the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam). By that time all had drunk the milk to their satisfaction.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) took the cup in his hand, looked towards me, smiled and said: 'Abahir?' I said 'I am here, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, "Now only two persons, myself and you are left!" I said: "Of course, O Messenger of Allah, you are right." Then he said: "Sit and drink." I sat down and started drinking the milk. The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alayhi wa Sallam) said: "Take more." I took a bit more and he continued saying; 'Drink a little more', till I said: By Allah! Who has commissioned you with the truth , now I have no more room in my stomach.' He said: 'Then let me have it.' So I passed on the cup to him. He thanked Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) and with the name of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) drank the milk which was left in the cup. (Bukhari)
Narrated Ibn Umar:
The Prophet said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of RED COMPLEXION, CURLY HAIR and a broad chest. Moses was of brown complexion, STRAIGHT HAIR and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 648)

Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

Narrated AbudDarda': Kathir ibn Qays said:

I was sitting with AbudDarda' in the mosque of Damascus. A man came to him and said: AbudDarda, I have come to you from the town of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) for a tradition that I have heard you relate from the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). I have come for no other purpose. He said: I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise. The angels will lower their wings in their great pleasure with one who seeks knowledge, the inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth and the fish in the deep waters will ask forgiveness for the learned man. Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 5, Number 277:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, ?The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone. They said, ?By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.? So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, ?My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, ?By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone.? Abu Huraira added, ?By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating.?

Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of shamand the people of Iraq were waging war to conquer Arminya and Adhargijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their
(PEOPLE OF SHAM AND IRAQ) difference in the recitation of the qur-an, so he said to Uthman, "O chief of the believers! Save this nation
((( BEFORE THEY DIFFER ))) about "THE BOOK" QUR-AN as Jews and Christians did before."

((( SO UTHMAN SENT A MESSAGE TO ((((HAFSA))))) saying "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you.)))

((( HAFSA SENT IT TO UTHMAN ))). 'Uthman then
((( ORDERED ZAID IBN THABIT))), 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men,

"In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies,

'Uthman returned

((( THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRPTS ))). 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. Said bin Thabit added, "A Verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur'an and I used to hear Allah's Apostle reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari. (That Verse was): 'Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.' (33.23)

Tabari (d. 923) If you [Muslims] are under their [non-Muslims’] authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them with your tongue while harboring inner animosity for them … [know that] God has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels rather than other believers—except when infidels are above them [in authority]. Should that be the case, let them act friendly towards them while preserving their religion.[Emphasis added] [3][4]

Ibn Kathir (d. 1373) ...except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda’ said, “We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.” Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, “The Tuqyah [taqiyya] is acceptable till the Day of Judgment [i.e., in perpetuity].[Emphasis added] [5][6]

Suyuti (d. 1505) - unless you protect yourselves against them,[non-Muslims] as a safeguard (tuqātan, ‘as a safeguard’, is the verbal noun from taqiyyatan), that is to say, [unless] you fear something, in which case you may show patronage to them through words, but not in your hearts: this was before the hegemony of Islam and [the dispensation] applies to any individual residing in a land with no say in it. [Emphasis added] [7]Tafsir al-Jalalayn, p. 131.

Bukhari (49:857) - "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." Lying is permitted when the end justifies the means.
Ibn ‘Abbas (radi allahu anhu) narrated that a blind man had a freed concubine (umm walad) who used to insult the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wassallam) and say bad things about him. He told her not to do that but she did not stop, and he rebuked her but she did not heed him. One night, when she started to say bad things about the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wassallam) and insult him, he took a short sword or dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it and killed her. The following morning that was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhe wassallam). He called the people together and said, “I adjure by Allah the man who has done this action and I adjure him by my right over him that he should stand up.” The blind man stood up and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am the one who did it; she used to insult you and say bad things about you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not give up her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was kind to me. Last night she began to insult you and say bad things about you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her.” Thereupon the Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wassallam) said: “Bear witness, there is no blood money due for her.” (Abu Dawood 4361)

We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. ((((((The night is coming,)))))) and then no one can work.(John 9:4)

But ye, brethren, are not in (((darkness))), that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are ((((not of the night, nor of darkness))))).(1 thes.5:4-5)

The Night is Also the Darkness

Who is the Darkness?

18 to open their eyes and turn them ((((from darkness)))) to light, and from the (((((power of Satan)))) to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’(Acts 26:18)

ito....EXPLAIN MO 'TO
Sahih Bukhari, Book 23, hadith 374
Narrated Anas bin Malik: We were (in the funeral procession) of one of the daughters of the Prophet and he was sitting by the side of the grave. I saw his eyes shedding tears. He said, "Is there anyone among you who did not have sexual relations with his wife last night?" Abu Talha replied in the affirmative. And so the Prophet told him to get down in the grave. And so he got down in her grave.
