arrated Jarir:

Narrated Ash-Shu`bi:
Abu Juhaifa said, "I asked `Ali, 'Have you got any book (which has been revealed to the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) apart from the Qur'an)?' `Ali replied, 'No, except Allah's Book or the power of understanding which has been bestowed (by Allah) upon a Muslim or what is (written) in this sheet of paper (with me).' Abu Juhaifa said, "I asked, 'What is (written) in this sheet of paper?' `Ali replied, it deals with The Diyya (compensation (blood money) paid by the killer to the relatives of the victim), the ransom for the releasing of the captives from the hands of the enemies, and the law that no Muslim should be killed in Qisas (equality in punishment) for the killing of (a disbeliever).

A man asked the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) about the picking up of a "Luqata" (fallen lost thing). The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "Recognize and remember its tying material and its container, and make public announcement (about it) for one year, then utilize it but give it to its owner if he comes." Then the person asked about the lost camel. On that, the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) got angry and his cheeks or his Face became red and he said, "You have no concern with it as it has its water container, and its feet and it will reach water, and eat (the leaves) of trees till its owner finds it." The man then asked about the lost sheep. The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "It is either for you, for your brother (another person) or for the wolf."

GABRIEL A" MAN"

Narrated Abu Huraira:
One day while the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, "What is faith?" Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, 'Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection." Then he further asked, "What is Islam?" Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan." Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?" Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you." Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents.
1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah.
The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) then recited: "Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour--." (31. 34) Then (((((((that man)))))) (Gabriel) left and the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him. Then the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion." Abu 'Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of faith.

“Allah and His angels send blessings (yu-salloon) on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.” (Qur’an 33:56)
It means Allah and His angels pray for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They argue that word ‘salah’ means ‘to pray’ so Allah according to this verse prays to someone for the Prophet (PBUH)

Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) saw a woman, and so he came to his wife, Zainab, as she was tanning a leather and had sexual intercourse with her. He then went to his Companions and told them: The woman advances and retires in the shape of a devil, so when one of you sees a woman, he should come to his wife, for that will repel what he feels in his heart. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2491)
Tabarani said: Hussain bin Is’haq al-Tustari informed us, who was informed by Uthman bin Abi Shaybah, who was informed by Shababah bin Sawwar, who was informed by Abu Malik al-Nakha’i who narrated from Aswad bin Qays, who narrated from Nubayh al-Anazi, who narrated from Umm Ayman, who said: ‘‘One night the Prophet got up and went to a side to urinate in the bowl. During the night, I rose and was thirsty so I drank whatever was in it and I did not even realize what it was. In the morning, He said, ‘Oh Umm Ayman! Throw away whatever is in the bowl’. I replied, ‘I drank what was in the bowl’. He thereafter smiled as such that His teeth appeared and said, ‘Beware! You will never have stomach pain’’.
(Tabarani Kabir 20740, Mustadrak al-Hakim 6912, Dalail al-Nubuwwah li-Isfahani 355)
Ibn ‘Abbas reported Allah’s Messenger may Allah bless him, as saying: “If anyone who means to have intercourse with his wife says, “In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep us away from the devil and keep the devil away from what Thou has provided us,” should it be ordained that a child be born to them thereby, no devil will ever harm it.” (Sahih Bukhari)
“Muhammad bin ‘Ammara al-Asadi reported to us. And she [Aisha] told him once in an angry speech: You are the one who pretends to be the prophet of God. [The Revival of Religious Sciences, volume 2, page 43. Authored in the 11th or 12th century by Al-Ghazali]

It must be pointed out that these people are simply excited to collect material for their claims; they do not go for quality of the argument and instead seek only a large number of allegations. Before examining the quoted statement, it should be mentioned that Qur’an chapter 24 defends lady Ayesha – may Allah be pleased with her–whereas these people have used it against her.

Narrated IbnAbiMalaika: 'Aisha used to recite this Verse:-- 'Ida taliqunahu bi-alsinatikum' (24.15) "(As you tell lie with your tongues.)" and used to say "Al-Walaq" means "telling of a lie. "She knew this Verse more than anybody else as it was revealed about her [SahihBukhari59:465].

Narrations about Allah’s Throne being on water:

He first quotes the following Hadith narrations about the Throne of Allah being on water;

Narrated Imran bin Husain:

I went to the Prophet and tied my she-camel at the gate. The people of Bani Tamim came to the Prophet who said "O Bani Tamim! Accept the good tidings." They said twice, 'You have given us the good tidings, now give us something" Then some Yemenites came to him and he said, "Accept the good tidings, O people of Yemen, for Bani Tamim refused them." They said, "We accept it, O Allah's Apostle! We have come to ask you about this matter (i.e. the start of creations)." He said, "First of all, there was nothing but Allah, and (then He created His Throne). His throne was over the water, and He wrote everything in the Book (in the Heaven) and created the Heavens and the Earth." (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 2953)

And:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, 'Spend (O man), and I shall spend on you." He also said, "Allah's Hand is full, and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending night and day." He also said, "Do you see what He has spent since He created the Heavens and the Earth? Nevertheless, what is in His Hand is not decreased, and His Throne was over the water; and in His Hand there is the balance (of justice) whereby He raises and lowers (people)." (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 4316)

Narrations about Satan (Iblis) setting his throne on water:

He then quotes the reports that say the Satan (Iblis) sets his throne on waters of the ocean.

Jabir reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying: The throne of Iblis is upon the ocean and he sends detachments (to different parts) in order to put people to trial and the most important figure in his eyes is one who is most notorious in sowing the seed of dissension. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 5031)

And:

Jabir reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Iblis places his throne upon water; he then sends detachments (for creating dissension); the nearer to him in tank are those who are most notorious in creating dissension. One of them comes and says: I did so and so. And he says: You have done nothing. Then one amongst them comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: You have done well. A'mash said: He then embraces him. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 5032)

Sam’s “conclusions”:

Alluding to these reports Sam then puts his indented falsehood in the form of “rhetorical” questions. He says;

With the foregoing in view does this mean that Satan is a co-occupant of Allah’s throne, that he and Allah share the same throne? In fact, can a Muslim cite a supposed authentic text stating that there are other individuals besides Allah and Satan that have a throne situated upon the water?

Or should we interpret this to mean that Satan expelled Allah from his throne upon the water and now has control over creation?

Worse still, should we actually see this as further proof that the Allah of Islam is actually the Devil masquerading as god? It seems so, especially when we take into consideration that the Quran boasts that Allah is the best deceiver/schemer/trickster/conniver/cheat of them all and that he perverts/misguides/corrupts people in the same way that Satan does (*; *; *).

The Truth:

Shameless Sam’s mental faculty leads him to believe that if there is a mention of throne on water with two different persons than they must either be sharing it, or one of them must have expelled the other and occupied it. Or, he believes, the two reports might actually be references to the same person and hence his pack of garbage, shown above.

To cut the things short the fact simply is that Satan (Iblis) tries to imitate Allah and thus establishes his throne on waters of the ocean. Infact a Hadith narrations clearly says this;

Narrated Abu Rayhana, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him, said: “Verily Satan puts his throne on ocean and sets veils around himself. This way he imitates Allah, the Almighty. He then sends detachments …” (Ibn Asaakir’s Tarikh Damishq 23/201)

Without citing this direct narration both Sharafuddin al-Husain bin Muhammad al-Taybi (d. 743 A.H.) and Mullah Ali Qari (d. 1014 A.H.), in their respective commentaries to Mishkat al-Masabih, have explained the report of Satan setting his throne on water likewise. That is, Satan actually does this to imitate Allah and thus deceive certain people who tend to dwell into supernatural domains. A perfect example is that of Ibn Sayyad as clear from the narration that Sam himself quotes;

Abu Sa'id reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) met him (Ibn Sayyad) and so did Abu Bakr and 'Umar on some of the roads of Medina. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Do you bear testimony to the fact that I am the Messenger of Allah? Thereupon he said: Do you bear testimony to the fact that I am the messenger of Allah? Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: I affirm my faith in Allah and in His Angels and in His Books, and what do you see? He said: I see the throne over water. Whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: You see the throne of Iblis upon the water, and what else do you see? He said: I see two truthfuls and a liar or two liars and one truthful. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Leave him He has been confounded. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith 5208)

So Ibn Sayyad and the likes of him fall in that trap of Satan!

About deceit and misguidance:

Regarding what he mentions about Allah being a “deceiver/schemer etc.” and that He “perverts/misguides etc.” please see the following links.

Does Allah misguide people?

Does Allah practice deceit and guile?

Conclusion:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A group of Israelites were lost. Nobody knows what they did. But I do not see them except that they were cursed and changed into rats, for if you put the milk of a she-camel in front of a rat, it will not drink it, but if the milk of a sheep is put in front of it, it will drink it." I told this to Ka'b who asked me, "Did you hear it from the Prophet ?" I said, "Yes." Ka'b asked me the same question several times.; I said to Ka'b. "Do I read the Torah? (i.e. I tell you this from the Prophet) (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 3060)

From Abu Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah said: ‘When the deceased is buried (or he said: when one of you is buried), there come to him two blue-black angels, one of whom is called Munkar and the other Nakeer. They ask him, ‘What did you used to say about this man?’ and he says what he used to say: ‘He is the slave and Messenger of Allah: I bear witness that there is no god except Allah and that Muhammad is the slave and Messenger of Allah. They say, ‘We knew beforehand that you used to say this.’ Then his grave will be widened for him to a size of seventy cubits by seventy cubits and it will be illuminated for him. Then they tell him, ‘Sleep.’

He says, ‘Go back to my family and tell them.’ They tell him, ‘Sleep like a bridegroom whom no-one will wake up except his most beloved,’ until Allah raises him up. If (the deceased) was a hypocrite, he says, ‘I heard the people saying something so I said something similar; I do not know.’ They say: ‘We knew beforehand that you used to say this.’ The earth will be told to squeeze him, so he will be crushed until his ribs are interlocked, and he will remain like that until Allah raises him up.’" (reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 1071. Abu ‘Isa said: It is a ghareeb hasan hadeeth. It is judged hasan in Saheeh al-Jaami‘, no. 724).
(7) Haaroot and
(8) Maaroot

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

". . . and such things as came down at Babylon to the angels Haaroot and Maaroot . . ." [al-Baqarah 2:102]

". . . and none can know the forces of your Lord, except He. And this is no other than a warning to mankind." [al-Muddaththir 74:31]

Their powers
The angels have great powers given to them by Allah, including the following:

The ability to take on different forms. Allah has given the angels the ability to take on forms other than their own. Allah sent Jibreel to Maryam (Mary) in the form of a man, as Allah says:

". . . Then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects." [Maryam 19:17]

Angels also came to Ibrahim in human form, and he did not know that they were angels until they told him so. Similarly, angels came to Lut in the form of young men with beautiful faces. Jibreel used to come to the Prophet in different forms: sometimes he would appear in the form of Dihyah al-Kalbi, a Sahaabee who was very handsome, and sometimes in the form of a Bedouin. The Sahaabah saw him in his human form, as is reported from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab in the two Saheehs. (‘Umar) said:

"One day while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah , there appeared before us a man whose clothes were exceedingly white and whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of travel were to be seen on him, and none of us knew him. He walked up and sat down by the Prophet . Resting his knees against his and placing his hands on his thighs, he said: ‘O Muhammad, tell me about Islam.’. . ." >(Saheeh Muslim, no. 8).

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23. Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz). Hadith 414.

Narrated By 'Urwa: 'Aisha said, "The Prophet in his fatal illness said, 'Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying." 'Aisha added, "Had it not been for that the grave of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying.

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23. Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz). Hadith 472.

Narrated By 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle in his fatal illness said, "Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians, for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets." And if that had not been the case, then the Prophet's grave would have been made prominent before the people. So (the Prophet) was afraid, or the people were afraid that his grave might be taken as a place for worship.

To sum up, the appendix of the hadith which is the text of the sayings of Ayesha clarifies the contents of the tradition since. "Umm-ul-Momineen" says: In order that the grave of the Holy Prophet would not be taken as mosque, they kept his grave hidden from the eyes of the people and constructed a barrier around it”.

Now it should be seen that from what aspects the barrier and wall around the grave can become an obstacle?

Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23. Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz). Hadith 474.

Narrated By 'Urwa: When the wall fell on them (i.e. grave’s) during the caliphate of Al-Walid bin 'Abdul Malik, the people started repairing it, and a foot appeared to them. The people got scared and thought that it was the foot of the Prophet. No-one could be found who could tell them about it till I ('Urwa) said to them, "By Allah, this is not the foot of the Prophet but it is the foot of Umar." 'Aisha narrated that she made a will to 'Abdullah bin Zubair, "Do not bury me with them (the Prophet and his two companions) but bury me with my companions (wives of the Prophet (p.b.u.h)) in Al-Baqi as I would not like to be looked upon as better than I really am (by being buried near the Prophet)."

Undoubtedly the barrier due to which people cannot see the grave of Prophet SAW will prevent the people from reciting salat over the grave, from worshipping the grave as one idol or at least from taking it as a Qibla.

Abdullah b. Amr reports that the Prophet of Allah said: "Jesus, son of Mary, will come down to earth, marry, and father children. He will live 45 years and then die, so as to be buried next to me in my grave. Then we - Jesus and I - will resurrect between Abu Bakr and Umar"

Ibni Kathir has stated that I`sa’s A.S demise will take place in Madina, where his Janazah (Burial) Salaat will be performed. He will then be buried beside the holy prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Imam Tirmizi has narrated from Abdullah Ibn Salaam, that he said the character of the prophet Muhammed (SAW)and the fact pertaining to I`sa’s A.S burial beside him, was written in the Torah

Allah's Prophet(SAW) said:

Hazrat Masih(SAW) will die after completing the duration he was destined to pass in the world and that Muslims would offer his funeral prayers and bury him next to the grave of the holy Prophet, Hazrat Abu Bakr and Hazrat Umar(RAs).

(Mishkat, P. 480)

Allah's Apostle(SAW) said:

After his descent on earth, Hadhrat Isa (A.S.) will marry. He will have children, and he will remain on earth 19 years after marriage. He will pass away and Muslims will perform his Janaza Salaat (funeral prayers) and bury him next to Rasulullah (SAW). (Tirmidhi)

Sahih Bukhari Vol 5, Book 57. Companions Of The Prophet.

Hadith 050.

Narrated By 'Amr bin Maimun: I saw 'Umar bin Al-Khattab a few days before he was stabbed in Medina…………………………

……………'Umar then said (to 'Abdullah), "Go to 'Aisha (the mother of the believers) and say: "Umar is paying his salutation to you. But don't say: 'The chief of the believers,' because today I am not the chief of the believers. And say: "Umar bin Al-Khattab asks the permission to be BURIED with his two companions (i.e. the Prophet, and Abu Bakr)." Abdullah greeted 'Aisha and asked for the permission for entering, and then entered to her and found her sitting and weeping. He said to her, "'Umar bin Al-Khattab is paying his salutations to you, and asks the permission to be BURIED with his two companions." She said, "I had the idea of having this place for myself, but today I prefer Umar to myself." When he returned it was said (to 'Umar), "'Abdullah bin 'Umar has come." 'Umar said, "Make me sit up." Somebody supported him against his body and 'Umar asked ('Abdullah), "What news do you have?" He said, "O chief of the believers! It is as you wish. She has given the permission." 'Umar said, "Praise be to Allah, there was nothing more important to me than this. So when I die, take me, and greet 'Aisha and say: "Umar bin Al-Khattab asks the permission (to be BURIED with the Prophet), and if she gives the permission, bury me there, and if she refuses, then take me to the grave-yard of the Muslims…………….

………………….So when 'Umar expired, we carried him out and set out walking. 'Abdullah bin 'Umar greeted ('Aisha) and said, "'Umar bin Al-Khattab asks for the permission." 'Aisha said, "Bring him in." He was brought in and BURIED beside his two companions…………..”

The Reason to mention these ahadiths is that there was only enough place in the hujraa of Hazrat Aysha RA that only two people could have been buried there. One was left for Hazrat Esa AS and the other was allowed for Hazrat Umar RA by Hazrat Aysha RA although she chose that place for herself.

But if we see the picture it seems that there is enough place inside the hujraa as a whole graveyard can be made in there.

So in my opinion as there is no other picture of the grave of the prophet Muhammad SAW, by examinig the grave in the picture with that of our Holy Prophet SAW under narrations from ahadiths books it seems that this grave is a false propaganda by non-muslims to spread misconceptions among the muslims or by some ignorant muslims to earn wordly benefits.

Although we have no original picture of the grave of Prophet Muhammad SAW but we can ask scholars about the condithion there..:

“At the Prophet's Mosque, no one faces his grave, because his grave is not raised over the ground. Besides, there is a wall built around it, to separate it from a portion of the mosque. The wall serves as a separating area, which does not allow the grave to be in view of the worshipers. Moreover, we should not imagine the Prophet's grave as a tomb or something built high over the ground, or that cement or bricks or any other building material is used with its construction. The whole thing is made according to the Sunnah which recommends that grave is only slightly higher than the ground. With the passage of the years, the Prophet's grave and those of his two companions, Abu Bakr and Umar have become level with the ground and no one is allowed inside the built-up area around.”

Also I visited a website http://etext.library.adelaide.edu.au/b/b97p/chapter16.html .

This is from a non muslim who some how managed to get in the sacred cities of Madina and Makkah. Though it was not a good experience for me to read his writing but at-least he has mentioned the detailed inner map in words.

The Hujrah29 or “Chamber” as it is called, from the circumstance of its having been Ayishah’s room, is an irregular square of from fifty to fifty-five feet in the South-East corner of the building, and separated on all sides from the walls of the Mosque by a passage about twenty-six feet broad on the South side, and twenty on the East. The reason of this isolation has been before explained, and there is a saying of Mohammed’s, “O Allah, cause not my Tomb to become an Object of Idolatrous Adoration! May Allah’s Wrath fall heavy upon the People who make the Tombs of their Prophets Places of Prayer30!”

Inside there are, or are supposed to be, three tombs facing the South, surrounded by stone walls without any aperture, or, as others say, by strong planking.31 Whatever this material may be, it is hung outside with a curtain, somewhat like a large four-post bed. The external railing is separated by a dark narrow passage from the inner, which it surrounds; and is of iron filigree painted of a vivid grass green, — with a view to the garden. Here carefully inserted in the verdure, and doubly bright by contrast, is the gilt or burnished brass work forming the long and graceful letters of the Suls character, and disposed into the Moslem creed, the Profession of Unity, and similar religious sentences.

On the South side, for greater honour, the railing is plated over with silver, and silver letters are interlaced with it. This fence, which connects the columns and forbids passage to all men, may be compared to the baldacchino of Roman churches. It has four gates: that to the South is the Bab al-Muwajihah; Eastward is the gate of our Lady Fatimah; westward the Bab al-Taubah (of Repentance), opening into the Rauzah or garden; and to the North, the Bab al-Shami or Syrian gate. They are constantly kept closed, except the fourth, which admits, into the dark narrow passage above alluded to, the officers who have charge of the treasures there deposited; and the eunuchs who sweep the floor, light the lamps, and carry away the presents sometimes thrown in here by devotees.32

In the Southern side of the fence are three windows, holes about half a foot square, and placed from four to five feet above the ground; they are said to be between three and four cubits distant from the Apostle’s head. The most Westerly of these is supposed to front Mohammed’s tomb, wherefore it is called the Shubak al-Nabi, or the Prophet’s window. The next, on the right as you front it, is Abu Bakr’s, and the most Easterly of the three is Omar’s.

Above the Hujrah is the Green Dome, surmounted outside by a large gilt crescent springing from a series of globes.

Narrated Aisha:

When there was ((( SAID ABOUT ME ))) what was said which

I myself was ((( UNAWARE OF ))))

, Allah's Apostle got up and addressed the people. He recited Tashah-hud, and after glorifying and praising Allah as He deserved, he said, "To proceed: O people Give me your opinion regarding those people who made a

((( FORGED story against my wife))).

By Allah, I do not know anything bad about her. By Allah, they accused her of being with a man about whom I have never known anything bad, and he never entered my house unless I was present there, and whenever I went on a journey, he went with me." Sad bin Mu'adh got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle Allow me to chop their heads off" Then a man from the Al-Khazraj (Sa'd bin 'Ubada) to whom the mother of (the poet) Hassan bin Thabit was a relative, got up and said (to Sad bin Mu'adh), "You have told a lie! By Allah, if those persons were from the Aus Tribe, you would not like to chop their heads off." It was probable that some evil would take place between the Aus and the Khazraj in the mosque, and I was unaware of all that. In the evening of that day, I went out for some of my needs (i.e. to relieve myself), and Um Mistah was accompanying me. On our return, Um Mistah stumbled and said, "Let Mistah. be ruined" I said to her, "O mother Why do you abuse your Son" On that Um Mistah became silent for a while, and stumbling again, she said, "Let Mistah be ruined" I said to her, "Why do you abuse your son?" She stumbled for the third time and said, "Let Mistah be ruined" whereupon I rebuked her for that. She said, "By Allah, I do not abuse him except because of you." I asked her, "Concerning what of my affairs?" So she disclosed the whole story to me. I said, "Has this really happened?" She replied, "Yes, by Allah." I returned to my house, astonished (and distressed) that I did not know for what purpose I had gone out. Then I became sick (fever) and said to Allah's Apostle "Send me to my father's house." So he sent a slave with me, and when I entered the house, I found Um Rum-an (my mother) downstairs while (my father) Abu Bakr was reciting something upstairs. My mother asked, "What has brought you, O (my) daughter?" I informed her and mentioned to her the whole story, but she did not feel it as I did. She said, "O my daughter! Take it easy, for there is never a charming lady loved by her husband who has other wives but that they feel jealous of her and speak badly of her." But she did not feel the news as I did. I asked (her), "Does my father know about it?" She said, "yes" I asked, Does Allah's Apostle know about it too?" She said, "Yes, Allah's Apostle does too." So the tears filled my eyes and I wept. Abu Bakr, who was reading upstairs heard my voice and came down and asked my mother, "What is the matter with her? " She said, "She has heard what has been said about her (as regards the story of Al-lfk)." On that Abu- Bakr wept and said, "I beseech you by Allah, O my daughter, to go back to your home" I went back to my home and Allah's Apostle had come to my house and asked my maid-servant about me (my character). The maid-servant said, "By Allah, I do not know of any defect in her character except that she sleeps and let the sheep enter (her house) and eat her dough." On that, some of the Prophet's companions spoke harshly to her and said, "Tell the truth to Allah's Apostle." Finally they told her of the affair (of the slander). She said, "Subhan Allah! By Allah, I know nothing against her except what goldsmith knows about a piece of pure gold." Then this news reached the man who was accused, and he said, "Subhan Allah! By Allah, I have never uncovered the private parts of any woman." Later that man was martyred in Allah's Cause. Next morning my parents came to pay me a visit and they stayed with me till Allah's Apostle came to me after he had offered the Asr prayer. He came to me while my parents were sitting around me on my right and my left. He praised and glorified Allah and said, "Now then O 'Aisha! If you have committed a bad deed or you have wronged (yourself), then repent to Allah as Allah accepts the repentance from his slaves." An Al-Ansari woman had come and was sitting near the gate. I said (to the Prophet). "Isn't it improper that you speak in such a way in the presence of this lady? Allah's Apostle then gave a piece of advice and I turned to my father and requested him to answer him (on my behalf). My father said, "What should I say?" Then I turned to my mother and asked her to answer him. She said, "What should I say?" When my parents did not give a reply to the Prophet, I said, "I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that Muhammad is His Apostle!" And after praising and glorifying Allah as He deserves, I said, "Now then, by Allah, if I were to tell you that I have not done (this evil action) and Allah is a witness that I am telling the truth, that would not be of any use to me on your part because you (people) have spoken about it and your hearts have absorbed it; and if I were to tell you that I have done this sin and Allah knows that I have not done it, then you will say, 'She has confessed herself guilty." By Allah, 'I do not see a suitable example for me and you but the example of (I tried to remember Jacob's name but couldn't) Joseph's father when he said; So (for me) "Patience is most fitting against that which you assert. It is Allah (alone) whose help can be sought.' At that very hour the Divine Inspiration came to Allah's Apostle and we remained silent. Then the Inspiration was over and I noticed the signs of happiness on his face while he was removing (the sweat) from his forehead and saying, "Have the good tidings O ' "Aisha! Allah has revealed your innocence." At that time I was extremely angry. My parents said to me. "Get up and go to him." I said, "By Allah, I will not do it and will not thank him nor thank either of you, but I will thank Allah Who has revealed my innocence. You have heard this story but neither did not deny it nor change it (to defend me)," (Aisha used to say:) "But as regards Zainab bint Jahsh, (the Prophet's wife), Allah protected her because of her piety, so she did not say anything except good (about me), but her sister, Hamna, was ruined among those who were ruined. Those who used to speak evil about me were Mistah, Hassan bin Thabit, and the hypocrite, Abdullah bin Ubai, who used to spread that news and tempt others to speak of it, and it was he and Hamna who had the greater share therein. Abu Bakr took an oath that he would never do any favor to Mistah at all. Then Allah revealed the Divine Verse:-- "Let not those among you who are good and wealthy (i.e. Abu Bakr) swear not to give (an
y sort of help) to their kinsmen, and those in need, (i.e. Mistah) ...Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah if Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (24.22) On that, Abu Bakr said, "Yes, by Allah, O our Lord! We wish that You should forgive us." So Abu Bakr again started giving to Mistah the expenditure which he used to give

28.On Eid day these things are Sunnah:

Cutting hair , Nails.

Having a bath.

Doing Miswaak (cleaning of teeth with a Miswaak, this is apart from Miswaak done during ablution).

Wear nice clothes, if new wear them, otherwise the best ones you have, to put Ittar on.

Going to the Eed prayer by one path and returning by another: It is narrated on the authority of Jaabir that he said: “The Messenger of Allah on Eed day used to differ paths” [al-Bukhari: 986]

29. To greet all Muslims by saying " Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu" .

It has been mentioned in the ahadith of Bukhari and Muslim that once Rasulullah (S) passed by a group of children and he made salaam to them, hence we deduce that it is Sunnat to make salaam to children as well.(Muslim-Vol.2, pg. 214)

The Sunnat method of making salaam is that one should say Assalaamu Alaikum verbally . To make salaam with the wave of the hand, the nod of the head or the indication of the finger or to answer to the salaam in this manner is against the Sunnat. If salaam is being made from far then one should make salaam verbally as well as with the hand. (Mishkaat-Vol.2,pg.399 narrating from Tirmidhi)

When meeting a fellow Muslim, then it is Sunnat to shake hands with him after Salaam. Females may shake hands with one another. (Mishkaat-Vol.2, pg. 401 from Bra’a Ibne A’azib)

30. When joining any gathering, one should sit wherever a place is found. To make others stand up and to sit in their place is Makruh and a sin. (Bukhari, Muslim)

31. When a person comes to meet you move a little even though there is ample place. This is also Sunnat and through it, the one arriving will feel honored.

32. When yawning, it is Sunnat to prevent it as far as possible. (Bukhari). If the mouth cannot be kept closed despite making an effort to do so, then place the back of the left hand over the mouth. While yawning, any sound should not be allowed to emanate as this is forbidden in the hadith. (Bukhar-Vol.2, pg.919, Muslim-Vol.2, pg. 412, 413)

33. When hearing a good name then to regard it as a good omen is Sunnat and to become pleased with this is also Sunnat. to regard anything as a bad omen is strictly prohibited. For instance, when someone sneezes to think that you will not succeed in your work or to regard the cawing of a crow or the sight of a monkey or the hooting of an owl as an indication of an impending calamity is baseless and a result of ignorance and incorrect beliefs. In the same manner to regard someone as a means of bad luck or to regard any day as bad is a very evil act. (Mirqaat-Vol.9, pg.2, 6. etc)

asalamualaikum brother, nice info,

i would like to add one thing above all these things given above

Sunnah according to prophet himself!

This is true sunnat as God’s cause demands and lo prophet himself termed it as his Sunnah.

Mishkatul Masabih Hadith 175;Tirmidhi

If you are in a position to pass your morning and evening keeping your heart free from malice against anyone, then act according to it, that is my sunnah and he who loves my sunnah he infact loves me and he who loves me- he would be with me in paradise.’

Prophet calls God’s cause his sunnah, unilateral love for all, malice for none!!!

Mishkatul Masabih Hadith 176;Baihaqi

“He who held fast to my sunnah in the period of turmoil of my people, for him is the reward of a 100 martyrs.”

Oh people what do I call you to, do you see what do I call you to? Don’t I call you to become an army of haabils (Abel), an army of better son of Adam, I call you for a reward of 100 martyrs . Is there any who would want to receive it???

May the believers say Lab baik ! Ameen

Mishkatul Masabih Hadith 170;Tirmidhi

“Let there be glad tidings to strangers, they are those persons who set right what the people had corrupted of my sunnah”

Mishkatul Masabih Hadith 159;Muslim

“Islam initiated as something strange and it would revert to being strange, so let there be tidings for the strangers”.(Tidings of reward of 100 martyrs)

Those who do not follow God’s cause fall in Mishkatiul Masabi Hadith 171;Tirmidhi –

“There would exactly befall my ummah evils which have befallen on the people of the book.(Because no change in ways of God) So much so that if there would be one who would do a certain sin among them, there would be among my ummah one who would do that and if the people of book will be fragmented into 72 sects, my ummah would be divided into 73 sects, all of them will be in hellfire except one sect ,companions said “which is that???” He replied “it is one to which I and my companions belong(Sunnah of the prophet-no malice for anyone)”

But today we muslims are full of malice for everyone, for the different sects, for hindus, for jews, for christians, americans, russians etc. etc.

No matter what definitions we give to the term sunnah , it doesn’t matter , what matters is the definition of the sunnah by the prophet himself and not by muslims.

Whatever prophet did might be a sunnah and we call it “HIS SUNNAH” but real sunnah is one which he called “MY SUNNAH” ,“MY SUNNAH” !!!

-------------

The whole world is like Hazrat Umar but no one is like his sister and brother i

he sunnah way of sleeping is sleeping on right side

As narrated in the hadiths below, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to sleep on his right side putting his right hand on his right cheek.

Narrated Al-Bara ibn Azib (ra),

"When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to retire to his bed, he would lie on his right side and then say, 'O Allah, I surrender my soul to You and I turn my face to You and I entrust my affair to You and I seek Your support with hope and fear of You. There is no refuge from You but to You. I have believed in Your Book which You sent down and Your Prophet whom You sent.'" (Bukhari)

Hudhayfah (ra) said,

“When the Prophet (pbuh) went to bed at night, he would put his hand under his cheek, then say, ‘Allaahumma bismika amootu wa ahyaa (O Allaah, in Your name I die and I live).’ Then when he woke up he would say, ‘Al-hamdu Lillaah alladhi ahyaanaa ba’da ma amaatanaa wa ilayhi al-nushoor (Praise be to Allaah who has brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection).’” (Bukhaari)
Our Prophet (pbuh) recommended us to sleep on right side and take wudu before going to bed

al-Bara' ibn 'Azib reported:

“The Prophet (pbuh) said to me; 'Whenever you go to bed, do wudu as you do wudu for the prayer and then lie down on your right side. Then say...'" and he mentioned the rest of it and in it is, "Make that the last of the words that you utter." [Bukhari, al-Wudu)
Lying on stomach is the position Allah (swt) hates

Ya'ish ibn Tikhfa al-Ghifari said,

"My father said, 'Once while I was lying on my stomach in the mosque, a man moved me with his foot and said, "This is a position which Allah hates."'" He said, "I looked up and it was the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." [Abu Dawud]
The Blessed Prophet (pbuh) used to lie on his back while having a short-lasting rest

'Abdullah ibn Zayd reported that he saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, lying on his back in the mosque with one foot on top of the other." [Agreed upon]
Science approves that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a great example to follow

Prophet Muhammad’s sleeping posture is exactly the same what today’s science recommends:

Science tells us that the best sleeping posture is lying on right and lying on back. It helps us relax and provides our internal organs, especially our heart, a proper rest. However, it says that sleeping on left causes lungs, stomach and liver to press against heart and prevents a resting sleep.

Sleeping on stomach causes pressure on all internal organs especially heart. It also results shallow breathing which avoids having a rest and causes waking up tired. It causes neck and back problems, as well.

It is extremely marvellous to see that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), nearly 14 centuries ago, performed and recommended the best way which science has recently discovered. It is a clue that he is a righteous Prophet who had his knowledge through the revelation of Allah (swt).

Call Them By Their Fathers

Ibn Umar (RA) reported that after the Prophet (SAW) freed Zayd ibn Harithah and adopted him, people used to refer to him as Zayd ibn Muhammed until the verse the following verse was revealed,

"Call them by (the names of) their father's, that is more just in the sight of Allah..." (Al-Ahzab 33:5)

Once this principle became part of the divine law, the Prophet (SAW) was instructed to further emphasize it by a series of warnings. For example, on one occasion he said,

"He who knowingly attributed his fatherhood to someone other than his real father will be excluded from paradise." (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood)

Abu Dharr (RA) also related that he heard the Prophet (SAW) say,

"He who deliberately lets himself be called the son of someone other than his father is guilty of disbelief (kufr)." (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood)
